my whole life consists of wondering whether or not to make the bitchy comment

Wtf is up with kids commenting on YouTube videos of songs that came out before 1999 saying shit like “I’m 16 years old and I’m sorry for what my generation is doing to music” or “I’m 15 and I wonder if in 20 years we’ll still be listening to Ke$ha the way people still listen to Marvin Gaye”
First of all kiddies, it does NOT in ANY WAY make you cool if you listen to music that came out before you were born. We all do that because for the first 5-10 years of your life, you just listen to the same stuff your parents listen to.
Second, Ke$ha is not the same kind of artist as someone like Marvin Gaye. They had shitty pop mixed in with the good stuff in the 60s too. But you just don’t realize that because people stop listening to the shitty pop and only the good stuff lasts.
Ugh, teenagers. The scourge of the Earth.
